Bold Black and White Exterior Repaint on Wisconsin Brick-and-Siding Home

Older homes with brick and siding can be tricky to paint well. You've got two completely different surfaces that need to work together, and the color choices you make have to look intentional - not thrown together. That was the challenge here, and we think the result speaks for itself.

We went with a crisp white on the siding and the upper brick sections, paired with a deep black on the lower brick, the fascia, the chimney, and all the trim. It's a bold combo, but it works really well on this style of home. The contrast gives it a clean, almost modern feel without losing any of the character the original brick brings to it.

The freeze-thaw cycles here are brutal, and cheaper paint will start showing its age fast.
